Idaho Sound Beginnings is the name of the program that administers the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program in Idaho.  Currently, there are 33 birthing hospitals in the state.  Over 20,000 babies are born in Idaho every year and 98% of them are screened at birth.
